You remember what we mentioned awhile back about Harold Ford Jr. maybe contemplating a run against Gillibrand? Well, the trial balloon has officially reached the New York Times, where Ford claims to have the support of a cadre of Wall Street folks and maybe Mike Bloomberg (R-Plutarchy).
I would comment at length about the chances that a conservative, carpet-bagging Wall Street executive would have running in a Democratic primary in New York against a well liked populist senator, but I don't think I could be more eloquent than Atrios was:
